UAB Medicine is seeking a dedicated operating room nurse for the CVOR unit in Alabama. You will provide professional nursing care for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures, performing scrub and circulating roles, and supporting the surgical team throughout the perioperative period.

Key requirements include a Nursing Diploma, Alabama RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Working hours are 6am-3pm with rotating call, and UAB offers comprehensive benefits and a mission-driven

Formación

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 180 days of hire.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse with Alabama Board of Nursing.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scrub functions: select and handle instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating functions: monitor and communicate patient condition.
• Directly assist surgeon with hemostasis, suturing, and patient positioning.
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for use.
