Job summary

UF Health's Spanish Plaines Hospital in The Villages, FL, is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a high-volume, advanced surgical hub. You will perform nursing assessments, develop diagnoses, and implement individualized perioperative care within a state-of-the-art 6-OR suite supported by a comprehensive pre- and post-op area.

Qualifications include an ASN and 1 year of Med/Surg or Critical Care experience; OR circulating or scrub RN experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN required for RN licensure.
• 1 year Med/Surg or Critical Care experience preferred.
• 1 year Circulating or Scrub OR RN experience preferred.
• Must be willing to on-call and live within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive perioperative care.
• Perform nursing assessments, formulate diagnoses, and implement individualized care plans.
• Support a 6-OR surgical suite with pre- and post-op areas and collaborate with the surgical leadership team.
