Job summary

UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time perioperative role in the OR/PACU. The position requires delivering direct patient care with a focus on safety, teamwork, and evidence-based practice.

You will operate in a fast-paced perioperative setting, guided by AORN/ABPANC standards, with clinical educators supporting ongoing specialty education and competency validation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
• State RN licensure and BLS certification; specialty certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of perioperative/OR experience.
• BLS card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct care includes practice in Perioperative, PACU or Operating Room levels of care.
• AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certifications standards are included in evidence-based care models.
• Clinical Educators support and guide education and training for competency validation during orientation.
