Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the CVOR to support cardio-thoracic procedures and patient care in a high-acuity operating room. Qualifications

• Current California RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred; CNOR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments according to clinical presentation and care setting.
• Identify care needs and plan discharge planning at admission as appropriate.
• Perform interventions for each nursing diagnosis per interdisciplinary care plan.
• Assist physicians in cardio-thoracic procedures in the OR and maintain sterility per AORN guidelines.
