Kelly Services is seeking Packaging Operators to support a Johnson & Johnson project in Raynham, MA. The role runs on first shift from 6 AM to 2 PM, Monday to Friday, with a starting pay of $25.17 per hour.

Responsibilities include assembling products, maintaining quality standards, and recording production data. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic Windows skills, and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills (Windows) and familiarity with basic software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with Quality, Operations & Engineering.
• Preferred 2-4 years of experience in packaging/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or produce products according to detailed manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to quality and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assemble materials into subassemblies or finished products using appropriate tools.
• Assist new employees with processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records related to quality, work in progress, test results, and projects.
• Perform in-process quality checks and tests on subassemblies and finished products.
• Collaborate with production supervisor/engineers to resolve line issues and implement improvements.
• Perform basic maintenance on tools/equipment and report repairs.
• Inspect packaging and labeling to ensure compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembles various materials into subassemblies or finished products using appropriate tools and equipment, in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
• Assists new employees with processes and procedures.

• Administers in process quality checks and tests on subassemblies and finished products.
• Works with production supervisor and/or engineers to resolve line issues and suggests improvements and preventative measures.
• Performs basic maintenance on tools or equipment and notifies supervisors of needed repairs. Labels and/or paints products.
• Inspects packaging and labeling of products to ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications.

Experience and Skills

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Operations & Engineering).
• Preferred 2-4 years expereince
