Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health Round Rock,CVICU unit, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to care for CVICU and ICU patients in a 26-bed unit. The RN will work night shifts (6:45pm–7:15am) on a 3 x 12 schedule with high-acuity patient ratios and collaboration with the broader care team.

Minimum one year CVICU experience is preferred; BLS is required within 30 days of hire. The facility emphasizes Magnet-recognized nursing excellence and a strong culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Minimum one year CVICU RN experience, two years ICU RN experience preferred.
• RN license/certification; BLS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for CVICU and ICU patients on a 26-bed unit with mixed acuity.
• Maintain patient monitoring with 1:1 for high-acuity and 1:2/1:3 for other ICU patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality cardiovascular and critical care.
