Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit. The role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced environment with a 1:2 patient ratio and 24/7 ICU coverage.

A 5K sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates with 2 years of RN experience. Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing care plans, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent ICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and RN license required
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of starting

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using a professional practice model.
• Assess patients, recognize health issues, create and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families and document learning needs.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
• Collaborate with ICU physicians and staff to ensure safety and quality care.
