Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU on the night shift (7pm-7am) to oversee patient care using a professional practice model.

You will perform assessments, create and adjust care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety, quality and compassionate care.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• 1 year ICU experience preferred.
• 2 years RN experience required.
• RN license.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families; document learning needs regularly.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate with colleagues to ensure care goals.
• Establish therapeutic relationships while prioritizing safety and compassion.
• Develop care plans reflecting values to resolve issues.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to peers’ development and community service.
