Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent and, upon hire
• Completion of an accredited nursing program and, upon hire
• Registered Nurse license for TN, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 120 days
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 120 days

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and patient monitoring including detection and escalation of acute changes
• Administration and monitoring of intravenous therapies and medications per patient rights
• Preventing falls and skin breakdown and adhering to safety policies
• Managing rapidly changing situations with prioritization and coordination
• Providing patient comfort, support, and advocacy to sustain a healing environment
• Teaching and coaching patients about readiness and understanding of their condition and care
