Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial invites applications for an RN role, delivering compassionate, high-quality care across a supportive interdisciplinary team. You will perform comprehensive assessments, execute care plans, and respond to changing patient needs in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required are an ADN or equivalent, completion of an accredited program, GA RN license, CPR, ACLS and PALS within specified timelines. A Bachelor's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program required.
• Registered Nurse license in GA required, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required, upon hire.
• ACLS to be completed within 120 days of hire.
• PALS to be completed within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and patient monitoring, including detection of acute changes and escalation of concerns.
• Administer and monitor therapies, including IV therapies and medication administration per patient rights.
• Manage rapidly changing situations by assessing and anticipating patient needs.
• Coordinate and prioritize patient care to meet multiple needs in a timely manner.
• Contribute to a healing environment and advocate for patient dignity.
• Assess patient readiness to learn and explain conditions to patients and families.
