Job summary

Sterling St James Inc. in Great Falls, MT seeks an experienced CVICU RN for nights to join a hospital-based critical care team. This role emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios and a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities include advanced cardiovascular care, leadership on the floor, and collaboration with providers and leadership to implement evidence-based plans. A retention bonus and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Montana or ready for compact/endorsement.
• Current BLS and ACLS are required; PALS within 6 months of hire.
• 1–2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU or equivalent cardiovascular ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care for CVICU patients from admission to discharge.
• Operate advanced cardiac/life-support equipment including CRRT and CRRT-related devices.
• Lead floor teams and coordinate with Providers, Charge Nurses and staff.
• Ensure accurate electronic documentation and discharge planning.
