Job summary

Kace Premier Medical Talent seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Great Falls, MT. You will provide high-level care to critically ill cardiovascular and surgical patients, utilizing advanced monitoring and life-support tools in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

This full-time Days position offers 3 x 12-hour shifts, strong nurse-to-patient ratios, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active Montana RN license (or eligibility).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS certification within six months of hire.
• Recent ICU or Critical Care experience caring for cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• 1–2 years of dedicated CVICU or Cardiac Surgical ICU experience.
• Experience with Impella devices, IABP, and CRRT.
• EPNC and TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular, medical, and surgical patients.
• Monitor patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and life-support therapies.
• Manage ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, CRRT, multiple IV infusions, and advanced cardiac monitoring equipment.
• Care for patients utilizing Impella devices and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP).
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Mentor and support fellow nurses and clinical staff.
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic documentation.
• Promote safe, evidence-based patient care throughout hospitalization.
