Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to assure safe, high-quality, cost-effective nursing care. You will lead staffing, patient flow, and bed management while collaborating with physicians and administrators to improve processes across the continuum.

You will mentor co-workers, promote a culture of change, and uphold Mercy Service Standards in support of mission and values. RN licensure and 3–5 years hospital experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period. TNCC , ACLS and ENPC or PALS.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures delivery of safe, high quality and cost-effective care by competent co-workers.
• Ensures units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care and supports patient flow and bed management.
• Leads and mentors staff, communicates vision for change, and collaborates with other leaders to improve processes.
• Collaborates with the Clinical Manager on evaluation processes and ensures adherence to Mercy Service Standards.
