Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Taylor, TX, seeks a Process Engineering Manager to head the CVD/Thin Films process engineering sub team. You will lead strategic initiatives, manage resources, and drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure 2nm readiness and safe, efficient production.

The role requires expert 2nm process engineering knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate complex risks to executives.

Qualifications

• Expert in 2nm semiconductor process engineering and integration.
• Proven experience leading large engineering teams in a high-volume manufacturing (HVM) environment.
• Deep understanding of eSPEC, PEMS, APC, RMS and YMS.
• Mastery of 8D, ALPS, PCCB, TMCB, and RACB process frameworks.
• Strong ability to communicate risks to executives.

Responsibilities

• Translate site objectives into a cohesive operational roadmap for Process TRs to execute.
• Manage manpower and resources to ensure key deliverables are met.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce tool downtime.
• Establish standardized protocols for 8D, ALPS, PCCB processes.
• Oversee performance management and leadership coaching for Process TRs.
• Drive CIP and safety/compliance initiatives and site readiness for 2nm.
• Synthesize complex data into concise reports for site leadership.
