Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a CVD Process Engineer to partner with Equipment Engineers and Technicians to troubleshoot process anomalies, conduct data-driven experiments, and implement improvements that reduce defects and increase throughput. The role includes rapid containment of fab quality events, 8D reporting, and technical leadership for junior staff.

The position requires a BS/MS in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Materials) or related science, and at least four years in

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering as listed; science degree acceptable.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing, preferably high-volume.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; able to lead technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot process issues on a 24/7 high-volume CVD fab site.
• Conduct experiments and data analyses to drive defect reduction and throughput improvements.
• Lead containment of critical fab quality events and generate 8D reports.
• Provide technical leadership and training to junior engineers and technicians.
