Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a CVD Process Engineering Manager to lead the CVD/Thin Films process engineering sub team in Taylor, TX. The role requires strategic leadership, strong safety and quality mindset, and deep expertise in 2nm processes.

You will drive organizational alignment, optimize resources, and coordinate with Process, Equipment, and Operations teams to ensure readiness for 2nm production. Strong governance and leadership coaching are essential.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in 2nm semiconductor process engineering and integration.
• Experience managing managers or large engineering teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong ability to communicate risks to executives and navigate complex organizations.
• Familiarity with site safety and quality systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate site and department objectives into an actionable operational roadmap for Process TRs.
• Oversee resource allocation across teams to meet key deliverables.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration between Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and Process Operations.
• Establish and maintain standardized protocols (8D, ALPS, PCCB) across all process pods.
• Mentor Process TRs on leadership, performance management and talent development.
• Synthesize technical data into concise reports for site leadership.
