Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver is seeking a CV Invasive Specialist I/II to support cardiac catheterization procedures at a professional level. The role involves independent judgment, adherence to ACVP/NASPE standards, and collaboration with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Shifts are full-time, 10-hour days, with no EP on-call. The location is Saint Joseph Hospital, and a sign-on bonus of $20,000 may be offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• PALS or ACLS; must obtain within 3 months.
• Bachelor's degree in health science with six months healthcare experience, or equivalent.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing program.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Current license where applicable.
• Surgical Tech/Assistant Certification per state requirements.
• Rad Tech state license per state requirements (Montana).

Responsibilities

• Participate in procedure room preparation and post procedure turnaround.
• Document hemodynamic recordings and calculations.
• Provide patient education and emotional support.
• Foster teamwork with physicians and other staff.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure x-ray safety.
• May administer medications under physician supervision (RCIS/RCES per state).
• Document each procedure and events accurately.
• Develop and troubleshoot Cardiac Catheterization Lab equipment.
