Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO is hiring CV Invasive Specialist I/II to support cardiac catheterization procedures at a professional level with supervision where needed. Roles involve invasive and diagnostic support, patient education, and tight teamwork within the cath lab.

We value candidates with RCIS/RCES eligibility or related credentials, a strong pharmacology knowledge base, and commitment to patient safety. A $20,000 sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• BLS for healthcare providers.
• PALS or ACLS certification within 3 months of start.
• Bachelor's or equivalent health science credential(s).
• Licensure as applicable (state requirements).

Responsibilities

• Participate in procedure room preparation and post procedure turnaround.
• Develop knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies.
• Provide patient education and emotional support; foster teamwork.
• Understand cardiopulmonary physiology and treatment options.
• Assess patient condition and inform physician of deviations.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and correctly.
• May mix/administer medications under supervision as required.
• Document procedures and events accurately.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot catheterization lab equipment.
