COMPANY OVERVIEW

The Primal Pet Group includes manufacturers of fully prepared, human-grade raw foods, treats, and supplements for dogs and cats. Founded to improve the quality of life and overall health and happiness of pets through wholesome raw foods that mimic the diet of animals in the wild, we are looking for reliable, motivated pet companions to join our fast-paced, growing team in Olathe, Colorado.

Responsibilities

1. Operation of industrial bandsaw according to instructions
2. Maintain a safety-first mindset
3. Able to lift 50 lbs.
4. Set up machinery for operation
5. Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
6. Perform quality control
7. Reporting and recordkeeping
8. Change bandsaw blade according to instructions
9. Clean machinery
10. Ability to lift heavy equipment, and stand or walk for long periods
11. Conduct regular tests of machine performance
12. Other duties as assigned
13. Punctual and regular attendance required

Qualifications and Skills

• Less than high school education; at least 3 months related experience or training, or equivalent
• Ability to read simple words and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers; capable of printing and speaking simple sentences
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and understanding percentages, especially related to weight and quantity measurements
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions; problem-solving in standardized situations

While performing job duties, you will be required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, and occasionally sit. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. The environment may involve moving mechanical parts, cold, wet conditions, vibration, and loud noise levels.
