Rewind Machine Operator 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm)

Responsibilities
  • Inspect printed products for quality conformance.
  • Reject defective products that do not meet quality standards.
  • Operate finishing equipment to ensure proper slitting, alignment, and roll profile.
  • Review job orders for specifications including quantities, production times, and packaging.
  • Notify supervisors of production issues and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Load and adjust master press rolls and transport printed materials.
  • Operate controls to start and manage finishing equipment.
  • Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Record production data accurately.
  • Ensure safety and quality compliance within the production area.
Qualifications
  • Ability to monitor processes, materials, and equipment effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with good time management.
  • Effective communication skills and flexibility.
  • Support of 5S initiatives.
  • 1-2 years relevant finishing or inspection experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Math and computer skills required.
  • English language proficiency.
Physical and Environmental Requirements

This indoor role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a controlled environment with exposure to noise and lights. Vision and hearing abilities necessary for safety and quality control are required.
