BASIC PURPOSE

This position supports terminal operations by loading, unloading, storing, mixing, and blending products.

COMPENSATION OVERVIEW:
  • $18.00 per hour
  • Overtime pay starting at 40 hours worked per week

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operating procedures for a safe and efficient environment
  • Use and wear required safety equipment
  • Execute safe tank car unloading processes
  • Unload truck trailers, store materials properly, and track inventory
  • Ensure inbound shipments are accurate and undamaged; report variances
  • Operate forklift safely for loading, unloading, and moving items
  • Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment
  • Operate blending/mixing machines following SOPs
  • Monitor equipment and production for safety and efficiency
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
  • Conduct quality control tests and record data
  • Draw samples for laboratory testing
  • Maintain records of cleaning and product batches
  • Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: 1 year in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, farming, or agriculture; experience with forklift operation
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Read and understand processes and procedures
  • Perceive color differences
  • Basic math skills
  • Willing to work a 5-day schedule with possible overtime
  • Motivated, self-starter, team player
  • Physical activities include climbing, lifting over 50 lbs, handling materials, and working in elevated areas
