Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Memphis is seeking a documentation coordinator to manage US Customs documentation, classify goods for customs, and ensure accurate data entry for import entries. You will provide impeccable customer service, work with carriers and government agencies, and may handle remote filings after an initial onsite period.

Paid training provided; shift is 8:00 pm–4:30 am with a Sunday rotation. Onsite work is required for 3 weeks or until productivity/accuracy standards are met, after

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• No specific industry experience required.
• Data entry and MS Office experience preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs and entry of goods for importers.
• Provide impeccable customer service and support.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release.
• Data entry and processing of import-related documents for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and update shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Adhere to international importing/exporting regulations.
• Work with internal staff, carriers, brokers, and government agencies to ensure high service levels.
• Process agency brokerage shipments and may handle remote filings.
• Comply with all policies and perform other duties as assigned.
