Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an on-site Import Coordinator to support US customs documentation, classification, and release processes. You will work with internal teams, carriers, and government agencies to ensure accurate data and timely shipments.

The role emphasizes strong communication, customer service, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Training is provided, with a Monday–Friday schedule in CST hours.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required, no industry experience required.
• Minimum of 6 months work experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience using computer systems for data entry, document creation and navigation of standard software applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs and other Government Agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service to internal and external customers.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from databases and tariff resources.
• Perform data entry and processing of import related documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and keep current shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all import/export regulations and internal policies.
