Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Import/Documentation Coordinator to manage US Customs documentation for entry of goods and provide impeccable customer service.

The role involves correct classification of goods, data entry, submission to US Customs and coordination with brokers, carriers and internal teams. It requires a HS diploma and at least 1 year of computer-system experience; onsite schedule 6:00 AM–2:30 PM MST with overtime.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required with any related import/dacumentation exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year of computer-system usage in professional/educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate US Customs/documentation for entry of goods for importers.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Data entry and processing of import documentation for US Customs submission.
• Process agency brokerage shipments and may handle remote filings.
• Maintain and keep current shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping.
• Work with internal staff, carriers, brokers, and government agencies to ensure service quality.
