Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Customs Specialist to protect compliance, minimize risk, and ensure the smooth movement of customer shipments through customs clearance.

You will handle complex exceptions, government examinations, and high-impact issues while delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. On-site three days a week with remote flexibility two days, you’ll collaborate with peers across teams to optimize automation and processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of entry-writing experience in international transportation or AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate customs entry data for accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve complex customs exceptions and regulatory concerns.
• Manage government agency holds and examinations (CBP, FDA, CPSC, VACIS, CET, Tailgate).
• Interpret regulations and apply them to daily operations and automated processes.
• Collaborate with brokers, carriers, and internal teams for seamless clearance.
