Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) seeks an Entry Writer I to join the CHB team and ensure accurate, timely submission of customs entries for inbound cargo clearance through US Customs. The role requires strong customer service and attention to detail in a busy office setting.

Incumbents may be promoted from administrative roles to learn entry writing. The position supports freight delivery to customers and collaborates with internal teams to meet KPI targets in import operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of experience and/or training in an import operation.
• Experience in an office environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review documentation to input and transmit data for CBP release of shipments.
• Follow SOPs for each customer on correct method and data for preparing an entry.
• Coordinate with team on entry tasks for release of cargo and exceptions to clearance requirements.
• Track status of files through CBP entry process and communicate with customers.
