Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on customs brokerage/import/export experience with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Licensed Customs Broker status is preferred or actively pursued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the regulatory control team for timely clearance of imports/exports.
• Monitor metrics: entry timeliness, line accuracy, rejects, and duty deadlines.
• Ensure HTS classification, valuation, origin, and PGA clearances are accurate.
• Lead complex entries including Section 301, AD/CVD, FTZ, and PSCs; respond to CBP/FDA holds.
• Mentor regulatory specialists and temps; train on ACE workflows.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to minimize demurrage and storage.
• Drive training on regulatory changes and cross-functional team knowledge.
