Job summary

CHAOS Industries seeks a Customs Compliance Manager to lead HTS/Schedule B classification, valuation, and origin for dual-use products. You will oversee brokers, manage entry and clearance, and optimize duty exposure while ensuring export controls compliance across ITAR and EAR.

Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, and Finance to embed compliance into sourcing and shipping. You will analyze regulations, prepare filings, and maintain audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of customs compliance experience.
• Hands-on HTS and Schedule B classification and valuation.
• Experience overseeing customs brokers and export declarations for accuracy.
• Familiarity with ITAR and EAR controls.

Responsibilities

• Determine HTS/Schedule B classification, valuation, and origin for parts and equipment.
• Oversee brokers and serve as compliance contact to ensure shipments clear.
• Review import/export documents for accuracy and file corrections as needed.
• Manage temporary exports, demonstrations, repairs, and returns.
• Advise on sourcing, routing, and Incoterms affecting customs.
