Job summary

Expeditors in El Paso, TX seeks a Supervisor to oversee daily operations and staff, ensuring timely filing, billing, and customer service excellence. You will enforce SOPs, regulatory compliance, and cross-train teammates while supporting client transitions and performance improvements.

The role requires Customs Brokerage experience with Expeditors’ systems, 1–2 years in leadership, and strong HTSUS/CFR19 knowledge. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; commute to the El Paso facility is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of customs brokerage experience with Expeditors’ internal system.
• 1–2 years of lead or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTSUS and CFR Title 19 regulations.
• Familiarity with Foreign-Trade Zones Manual and Participating Government Agencies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations and staff to ensure timely filing and billing.
• Ensure compliance with local customs laws and PGA regulations.
• Maintain SOPs, cross-training, and client transition processes.
• Manage team dashboards, KPI tracking, and audits.
• Provide problem-solving support and mentor team members.
• Attend calls and pilot programs as designated by management.
• Review rate schedules, ensure accurate billing, and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee overtime, productivity, and morale within the team.
