Job summary

Expeditors in Savannah, GA is seeking a Customs Brokerage/Compliance professional to ensure timely shipment processing, accurate data entry, and billing. You will prepare customs entries, understand Import/Export SOPs, and ensure timely clearance. The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and KPI-driven performance.

Training is mandatory and ongoing. 2 years of customs brokerage experience and a BS or equivalent are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years Customs Brokerage/Compliance experience preferred.
• Ability to type: 45wpm.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to adapt to changes.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Process oriented.
• Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year, including as needed management/leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Timely and Accurate Shipment Processing in accordance with procedures.
• Timely and Accurate Data Entry into operational systems.
• Timely and Accurate Billing and Accounting to customers.
• Prepare customs entries in Exp.o Customs and understand SOPs.
• Ensure accurate data entry from LOG to DLV and timely customs clearance.
• Monitor customs clearances and communicate with customers.
• Meet KPI standards and comply with OPS and regulations.
