Job summary

Maersk is seeking a CHB Delivery Lead to guide a Customs Brokerage team in delivering compliant, efficient U.S. import transactions and excellent customer service.

You will drive operational excellence and performance across assigned accounts, acting as a subject matter expert in brokerage processes and regulatory requirements. You will coach and develop staff, apply Lean methods to improve delivery, and collaborate with Compliance, Product, Growth, and Operations to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade.
• Experience leading teams and delivering customer service results.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import operations.
• Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the successful execution of U.S. import customs brokerage activities.
• Drive operational excellence, productivity, and service quality across assigned customer accounts.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for customs brokerage processes, classifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with CBP regulations and other government agency requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and implement actions to improve performance and outcomes.
• Partner with customers to understand business needs and strengthen relationships.
• Oversee invoicing, accrual management, and account performance.
• Coach and develop team members with a culture of accountability and engagement.
• Leverage Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Product, Growth, and Operations teams to support business objectives.
