Job summary

Maersk is hiring a CHB Delivery Lead in the United States to oversee end-to-end customs brokerage operations for a defined portfolio of clients. You will lead a team of CHB professionals, ensuring compliant, efficient service delivery and acting as the escalation point for complex issues.

You will monitor KPIs, collaborate with compliance, IT, product, and operations, and ensure accurate billing and accounts receivable follow-up.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or transportation.
• 1–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of U.S. import regulations, customs compliance, and brokerage operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of CHB associates, including workload allocation, coaching, performance management, and development.
• Oversee end-to-end import customs brokerage operations, ensuring timely and compliant processing of shipments.
• Develop strong understanding of client import programs, including product classifications, regulatory requirements, and service expectations.
• Act as primary escalation point for complex operational or customer issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor and drive performance against KPIs, service levels, and operational targets, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure accuracy in financial processes including billing, accruals, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal teams (compliance, IT, product, and operations) to optimize service delivery and address process gaps.
• Ensure full compliance with CBP regulations and all applicable federal and agency requirements.
