Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customs brokerage or freight forwarding role.
• Strong knowledge of HTS classification, valuation, and country of origin rules.
• Familiarity with ACE Portal, CTPAT, TSA documentation, and other customs software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Classify imported goods in accordance with the HTSUS.
• Utilize ACE Portal for AES filings, protests, and other regulatory activities.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. customs laws and regulations.
• Communicate with CBP and other government agencies (FDA, USDA, etc.).
• Oversee CTPAT procedures and TSA requirements.
• Advise clients and internal teams on customs-related matters.
• Review and maintain customs documentation and records.
• Train and mentor junior operations and import team members.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and industry trends.
