CUSTOMER SVC/SHIFT LEADER (Finance)

Encourage team members to deliver excellent customer service. Must be able to oversee the total store operations in absence of Store Manager and Store Managers in Training. Minimum Requirements:
  1. Any previous supervisory/leadership experience
  2. Past work record reflects dependability and integrity
  3. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  4. Knowledge of basic math
  5. Effective communication and reading skills
  6. Ability to handle stressful situations
  7. Work in all areas of our stores including cashiering, stocking, general maintenance, and cleaning
  8. Assist store management and team members in the achievement of a favorable customer shopping experience
  9. Assist in leading teams in the planning, implementation and execution of merchandising and operating initiatives
  10. Work with team members to identify opportunities in the store, develop timely solutions and create action plans to ensure implementation of plans
  11. Drive sales working with store management team to maximize sales and profits while managing shrink
  12. Assist the store management team in reducing turnover, increasing retention and maintaining consistent store operations
  13. Assist with the management of labor and supply costs to meet customer service and financial targets
  14. Ensure customer returns and exchanges are handled to satisfy customers while in compliance with company policies and procedures
  15. Maintain an awareness of inventory and stocking conditions to capture ordering system integrity
  16. Display positive attitude
  17. Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads
  18. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
  19. Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management
  20. Report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud
  21. Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines
  22. Oversee the total store operations in absence of store management
  23. Maintain flexibility to work any shift, ability to open or close store
  24. Promote trust and respect among team members
  25. Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold throughout the store
  26. Achieve a satisfactory level of technical and professional skills or knowledge in position and related areas
  27. Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold; respond to questions and make suggestions about products
  28. Physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing and walking 100% of the time, lifting an average of 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, bending, twisting/turning, manual dexterity, and repetitive motion of hands/wrists
  29. Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
