Job summary

BMW of North America is seeking a Customer Support Steering Specialist to drive the Aftersales Granular Performance Management program from BMW's Woodcliff Lake location. You will collaborate with department heads to shape KPIs, monitor dealer performance, and steer governance.

This role emphasizes data-driven tracking, cross-functional coordination, and QMS support to ensure program relevance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3–5 years in Finance, Corporate Strategy, Sales & Service Strategy, or related fields.
• Experience at BMW HQ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development, improvement, and implementation of the Aftersales GPM program with milestones and governance.
• Maintain communication with department heads to gather feedback and negotiate KPIs.
• Facilitate monthly GPM sessions by monitoring dealer performance and guiding next steps.
• Help establish performance-tracking processes and integrate GPM logic within operations.
• Support creation and upkeep of strategic work-packages tracking and periodic reviews.
• Assist with the 3LTA target management process and quarterly updates.
• Maintain the internal target-tracking platform and contribute to quarterly reports for C4 US A.
• Serve as QMS Champion for C4-US-A-1 and assist with audits.

Job Description:

WHAT AWAITS YOU.

• Support ongoing development, improvement, and implementation of the Aftersales Granular Performance Management (GPM) program, including milestone tracking and governance.
• Maintain strong communication with department heads to gather feedback, negotiate annual KPIs, and ensure the program remains relevant across all operational touchpoints.
• Help facilitate monthly GPM working sessions by monitoring dealer performance, identifying underperforming areas, and steering discussions toward clear, actionable next steps.
• Assist with establishing performance‑tracking processes, maintaining communication and reporting plans, and supporting integration of GPM logic within regional and national operations, including a bilateral feedback platform.
• Support the creation and upkeep of strategic work‑package performance‑tracking processes while assisting with periodic management reviews and escalating risks or deviations as needed.
• Support the full 3LTA target management process, including maintaining tracking systems, collecting quarterly updates, and identifying shortfalls and risks.
• Maintain and support the internal target‑tracking platform while contributing to quarterly performance reporting for the C4 US A management circle.
• Serve as QMS Champion for C4‑US‑A‑1 by assisting with QMS reviews and providing support during audits.

WHAT YOU SHOULDBRING.

• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years in Finance, Corporate Strategy, Sales & Service Strategy, strategic Marketing/Brand management, Product Management; Strategy Consulting experiences beneficial
• Experience working at BMW HQ a plus

Relocation is available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position is $57,900.00 - $95,500.00.

The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
