Job summary

Hawaiian Host Group in Honolulu is seeking a Customer Support Representative to deliver excellent, friendly service, process orders and invoices, and perform clerical duties in support of the department.

The role requires an AA degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience), 1 year of customer service experience, and proficiency with Excel and Word, plus accounting systems knowledge. Strong communication and accuracy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• AA degree with emphasis in Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• One year of customer service experience, preferably with order entry.
• Computer literate in Excel, Word; knowledge of database and/or accounting systems.
• Ability to type 25 wpm and use 10-key by touch.
• Ability to use general office equipment and perform basic math.
• Good verbal, written and telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone line and assists customers, brokers, sales team, and drivers.
• Receives and records orders and processes invoices for all regions.
• Performs EDI tasks to process orders and invoices.
• Maintains department files and performs clerical duties as needed.
• Invoicing orders and posting batches in Great Plains per policies.
• Works independently and as part of a team; regular attendance required.
