Job summary

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Customer Support Specialist for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning resolving UK customer issues end to end.

You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) and join a friendly UK team, using modern, cloud-based tools to support customers from home with reliable equipment. Excellent written English and strong problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with a help desk tool such as Zendesk or Freshdesk.
• Excellent written English and a calm, empathetic manner.
• Strong problem-solving and ticket prioritisation skills.
• A reliable computer, headset and stable fibre connection.

Role overview

You will be the problem solver customers rely on. You will handle more complex queries across email, chat and phone, spot recurring issues and help the team improve how customers are supported.

What you’ll need

• Experience in customer support or a service desk role
