Odessa Client seeks a Customer Support Specialist to assist the sales team and collaborate with sister organizations to drive new business development and operational objectives.

Responsibilities include handling orders via SAP, updating customers on status and delivery dates, and coordinating with Workshop and Purchasing to meet timelines. Proactive communication and accuracy in data entry across portals are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED; related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive customer support by phone, email, walk-in service, pickup and delivery.
• Communicate order status, pricing, lead times and revised delivery dates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Process customer transactions in SAP (sales orders, invoices, production orders, purchase orders, goods receipts, credit memos, rebills, etc.).
• Monitor and progress existing customer orders to ensure on-time delivery and update stakeholders as needed.
• Coordinate with Workshop and Purchasing to meet delivery requirements and resolve issues.
• Assess repairs and prepare quotations using eVE and other approved tools.
• Use Portal tools (CSDS, Drawing Search, eVE, Quick Quote) to determine pricing and locate drawings.
• Enter and maintain customer information in portals (Ariba, Coupa, OpenInvoice).
• Monitor inventory levels and pull items for active orders; receive daily deliveries and verify quantities.
• Perform quality checks and prepare shipment documentation; locate drawings for repair/manufacturing.
• Assist with pickup/delivery of orders, parts, tools, and shop items as needed.
• Provide cross-functional support to maintain customer service and priorities.
• Promote customer satisfaction through service excellence and leadership.
