Job summary

Hawaiian Host Group in Hawaii seeks a Customer Support Representative to provide excellent service, process orders and invoices, and support the Inside Sales team.

Under the direction of the Customer Support Manager, you will handle orders from local and island customers, perform EDI tasks, maintain files, and collaborate with Sales, Accounting, and Warehouse staff. AA degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AA degree with emphasis in Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience, preferably with order entry.
• Computer literate in Excel, Word; knowledge of database and/or accounting systems.
• Ability to type 25 wpm and use 10-key by touch.
• Ability to use general office equipment and accounting systems.
• Basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong verbal, written and telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers Inside Sales line and assists customers, brokers, Sales Team, and delivery staff.
• Receives and records orders; processes orders and invoices for various regions and branches.
• Performs EDI tasks to process orders and invoices.
• Fulfills clerical duties: typing, emailing, filing, photocopying, scanning, mailing.
• Invoicing orders and posting batches in Great Plains.
• Files invoices, records and reports; maintains files.
• Works independently and as part of a team; maintains attendance.
