Performance Food Group (Vistar) is seeking a detail-oriented customer service representative in New Jersey. You will assist customers with orders and inquiries, input orders and credits, and coordinate with vendors as needed to ensure timely, accurate service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Must be able to type 40 WPM.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Accurate data entry and efficient typing.
• Intermediate computer skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems; contact vendors for samples.
• Provide informative and professional assistance with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform administrative duties such as checking faxes and mail daily; attend training and meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
