Job summary

Quantix SCS is seeking a Customer Service Specialist I in Morris, IL. The role acts as a liaison between customers and Quantix, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time, while providing one-on-one service and routing needs to the appropriate teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication abilities with both external and internal customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn and become proficient with required systems and other web-based operations platforms.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in Customer Service, Account Management, or Inventory Management preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Quantix and customers’ orders to ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to facilitate needs, schedules, and shipments.
• Ensure documentation is detailed to support other departments.
• Support continuous process improvement and assist in problem resolution.
• Build relationships through service, communication, and product knowledge.
• Gather, monitor, and analyze customer account data for management reporting.
• Assist with and support business development through relationship-building.
