Job summary

Halma plc is seeking a Customer Care Specialist in Houston to act as the essential liaison between customers and the company, owning the full order process from inception to delivery and coordinating returns, repairs, and demonstrations.

The role focuses on streamlining the customer buying journey and identifying cross-selling opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with distributors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer support roles.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to build rapport with partners and internal teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end customer order process with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide product knowledge for configuration, functionality and pricing to enable cross-selling.
• Manage product returns and repairs coordination.
• Track and respond to demo requests and manage demo inventory with sales.
• Assist with delivery of supporting marketing collateral as needed.
• Coordinate with Finance on account standing and customer payments.
• Generate inventory reports to anticipate demand and services.
• Develop and monitor customer surveys to measure satisfaction (NPS, CPO).
• Clarify product-related complaints, identify causes, coordinate corrections and follow-up.
