Job summary

Sheathing Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Morgan Hill, CA to ensure accurate order entry and clear communication from entry to shipment. You will collaborate with Sales, Shipping, and other departments to support customers and improve service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders received by email, fax, EDI, and telephone.
• Process international and expedited orders.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming company calls.
• Prepare and distribute daily customer invoices.
• Send order confirmations through email, fax, or EDI.
• Coordinate expedited shipments with the Shipping Department and verify orders prior to shipment.
• Calculate freight charges using shipping company applications.
• Respond to customer needs with a positive, professional, and helpful attitude.
• Direct product and pricing questions to the appropriate Sales team member.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information.
• Follow established company procedures and controlled Quality Documents.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Shipping, and other departments to support our customers.
