Job summary

Corning Incorporated in the United States is seeking a customer service professional to be the first line of contact for North American customers. You will work with Sales Team, Accounting/Credit, New Accounts, and more to deliver world-class service, manage inquiries, orders, and pricing information.

The role requires Associate degree and 3+ years (or 5+ years call center) experience, with strong communication, typing speed, and proficiency in Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 3+ years customer service experience (desired) or 5+ years of call center experience.
• Ability to handle high work volume in a fast-paced environment.
• On-time attendance and professional communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Email, and Web.
• Ability to type at ~50 WPM.
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming high order volume via phone and email.
• Manage Case Management in SalesForce.com.
• Interact with internal/external contacts across systems.
• Provide accurate order entry/management for inventory, pricing, and shipping.
