About The Role

As a Customer Success Engineer, you’ll be on the front lines of financial transformation, helping the world’s leading investment firms rewire their decision-making processes using Auquan’s AI technology. You’ll guide customers through onboarding and beyond—advising, enabling, and optimizing their use of Auquan’s platform to drive measurable outcomes in ESG, risk, compliance, and strategic workflows.

This is a cross-functional, high-impact role where you’ll combine client advisory, product understanding, and data-driven strategy to embed AI as a core capability within global financial institutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the product expert – Translate customer objectives into operational and technical workflows using Auquan’s platform.
  • Deliver tailored enablement – Train senior execs, analysts, and investment teams on best practices to reshape how they operate with AI.
  • Build engagement toolkits – Create scalable strategies and materials that help customers get the most out of the platform.
  • Drive adoption and value – Track and report usage and success metrics, demonstrating measurable ROI and business outcomes.
  • Own the customer experience – Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across pre- and post-sales.
  • Collaborate across teams – Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing to represent the voice of the customer.
  • Support and troubleshoot – Ensure continuous value delivery through hands-on support and effective resolution coordination.
  • Expand Auquan’s footprint – Identify growth opportunities within accounts and support expansion across divisions and markets.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-3+ years in financial services, strategy, and/or similar consultative customer-facing, pre-sales engineer roles
  • Track record of high performance across different domains (academia, business, sports, or personal projects).
  • Strong critical thinker with the ability to break down complex problems using structured analysis and data.
  • Clear, persuasive communicator with strong written and verbal storytelling skills.
  • Deep understanding of finance workflows and how data and AI can augment them.
  • Comfortable working in technical contexts; bonus if familiar with Python, LLMs, or AI tools.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and execution-oriented—thrives in ambiguity and takes initiative to solve problems independently.
  • Operational mindset—you don’t just point out inefficiencies, you fix them.

  • The salary range for this role is between $120,000 and $150,000 for NY-based candidates. Factors that may impact the agreed upon salary within the range for a particular candidate include years of experience, level of education obtained, skill set, and other external factors.
