This is a remote role that must be based in PST.

As a key member of our global Customer Success organization, the Customer Success Engineer acts as a technical leader at Tines and helps customers understand the value of workflow automation across their organization. Your role will involve working alongside customers as they onboard and expand their use cases of Tines, partnering with our Customer Success Managers to ensure success criteria are met, and helping build and enable new use cases.

Our CSEs work closely with teams across our organization (Product, Design, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing) to ensure we are building the correct roadmap to support our customers' needs. A successful candidate will be passionate about helping customers automate repetitive tasks without writing code.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Design and develop automation stories in Tines connecting tools using APIs.
  • Work closely with customers during onboarding, growth, and expansion of their platform usage.
  • Educate customers on how to get started, refine, and expand their automation use cases.
  • Partner with a Customer Success Manager to review customer health and develop success plans.
  • Communicate customer needs across the organization to inform product roadmap.
  • Position Tines effectively against other platforms, addressing common technical challenges.
  • Identify issues with documentation and enablement resources used by customers.
  • Support Professional Services to promote rapid adoption.
  • Support multiple teams across the organization as needed.
  • Contribute to shaping processes and support systems as part of our startup environment.
What You Bring With You
  • 3+ years in a technical, client-facing role (e.g., Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Engineering).
  • Proven experience supporting customers technically and aiding onboarding/implementation.
  • A passion for mastering software solutions like Tines.
  • Curiosity about new technologies from both Tines and customer perspectives.
  • Experience reading API documentation and connecting tools via APIs.
  • A degree in computer science or experience with programming/scripting languages.
  • Experience with enterprise security tools is a bonus, but not required.
  • Passion for supporting customers and automating workflows.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Target Annual Earnings (salary + commission): $120K-135K
