Job summary

Viking Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Customer Account Manager to handle product and service inquiries, pricing, availability, and shipping information.

You will be the primary point of contact for customers in an industrial distribution setting, coordinating with internal teams to meet requirements and drive satisfaction. Responsibilities include processing orders and quotes, handling returns, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records in enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial distribution environment.
• Proficient in coordinating with multiple internal departments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage orders, pricing, shipping, and returns.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, quotes, returns, and credits in accordance with policies.
• Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or other channels.
• Coordinate with sales, fabrication, credit, inventory control, warehouse and other internal departments.
• Investigate order entry, pricing, shipping, and billing discrepancies; coordinate solutions.
• Utilize enterprise systems to obtain product, pricing, availability, and application information.
• Ensure access to current company literature and technical documentation.
• Represent the company professionally and meet customer expectations and timelines.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through promotions and add-on items.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and orders.
• Follow up with customers to provide status updates and resolution.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal partners.
• Complete required training and SOPs; perform other duties as assigned.
