Qualifications

• 2–4 years of customer service or in-store sales experience.
• Prior industry experience with knowledge of products such as hardgoods, welding supplies, industrial gas, specialty gas, and medical gas is required.
• Hands-on experience in Specialty Gas/Hydrocarbon industries is required.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications and Lotus Notes.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated; able to work flexible hours.

Responsabilités

• Maintain ongoing relationships with regional customers and sales staff by handling calls, correcting order issues, processing orders, and resolving product or service issues.
• Process sales orders and changes, confirm shipment/delivery dates, and handle cancellations.
• Provide specialty gas/supplies sales and support to customers, Customer Solutions Specialists, and the outside sales team.
• Use business software systems to retrieve customer information, verify inventory levels, and process orders.
• Verify customer credit status and complete paperwork for issuing credits or debits.
• Provide quotes and assistance to sales force and management within set parameters.
• Suggest additional or alternative products and services to meet customer needs, following pricing guidelines.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with all internal Lindecustomers, meeting call center performance metrics.
