Miami University Alumni Association is seeking a Customer Services Assistant to support Marcum Center operations. This full-time, hourly role carries a third shift (10:45 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) at the Marcum Hotel & Conference Center, with 32 scheduled hours per week and benefit eligibility.

Perform a variety of clerical, administrative, and customer service duties related to supporting the operations of a retail or hospitality unit
Requires six months of coursework or training beyond high school in Business Administration and one year of retail or hospitality experience, or an equivalent combination of education and expertise
This full-time position serves as the night auditor/front desk attendant at the Marcum Hotel & Conference Center.
The position provides customer service to hotel guests, answers phones, makes hotel reservations, checks guests in and out, processes payments, programs rooms access, processes the close of business procedures, assists with questions about Miami’s campus, organizes and updates hotel room status, assists with contacting maintenance for facility repairs and generally serves as the welcoming face of the hotel.
Shifts for this position include hours from 10:45 p.m.-7:00 a.m. 3 days per week and 2:45 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. one day per week based on business needs. Shifts include weekends and holidays.
A criminal background check is required. All campuses are smoke- and tobacco-free campuses.
