Job summary

Wheatland Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Teller to join our Downtown Spokane team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service with deposits, withdrawals, checks, and cross-selling banking products to customers while maintaining accuracy and security.

The ideal candidate will have cash handling and customer service experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work in a professional, confidential environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Cash Handling Experience Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred
• Must work in a professional and confidential manner
• Basic ten-key skills
• Professional verbal communication skills
• Ability to promote the organization to customers and co-workers
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic

Responsibilities

• Processes retail and commercial deposits and cash transactions with proper documentation and authorization
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals, ensuring limits and authorization
• Operates computer terminals for account activity and problem resolution
• Balances cash drawer daily and maintains vault procedures
• Cross-sells bank products and refers customers to appropriate staff
• Issues cashier's checks and handles nights depository duties
• Answers phones and directs callers to the right personnel
• Processes wire transfers and traveler's checks as required
